Danish audio brand DALI has integrated the award-winning design and sound of its original KATCH speaker into the new KATCH G2 to deliver a compact, stylish, and portable Bluetooth speaker for music enthusiasts who want to turn up the sound anywhere.
The KATCH G2 offers Bluetooth 5.0 to dramatically improve reach and higher audio quality for a better sound experience. It also offers support for Qualcomm aptX, aptX-HD and ACC.
An inbuilt 3300mAh battery provides up to 30 hours of untethered playback music, and power-level indicator lights can be activated by the push of a button. True wireless stereo capability mode supports the pairing of two KATCH G2’s to increase volume and listening area with quick transmission between devices.
Available in two contemporary colours: Caramel White; and Iron Black, the stylish, curved design features the gold coin DALI branding, colour-matched genuine leather handle, and notable front grilles. The compact, slim device houses a 2-way stereo speaker system with a large passive membrane supporting the woofer in the otherwise closed cabinet. By placing drivers on both sides, the sound integrates with the entire room for an enhanced audio experience. The cabinet has an internal wall dividing it into two inner volumes, for improved channel separation.
Users can connect via Bluetooth or use NFC (near field communication) for effortless connection. The DALI KATCH G2 is equipped with a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input, which is auto-sensing and eliminates the need for additional commands to play music. A USB charge connector allows charging when on the move, or to drive a Chromecast Audio dongle or Amazon Echo for easy home network integration.
