Uniden adds ultra 4K smart dash cam to its Dash View Range, offering drivers a clearer picture on the road
Uniden has released a flagship Dash View model to expand its smart dash cam range. Capturing higher quality images and more detailed video, the Uniden Dash View 50R smart dash cam boasts a 4K resolution front camera and includes a 64GB Micro SD Card to store and retrieve vision.
With state-of-the-art voice control functionality, the Dash View 50R is designed for Australian roads and engineered with Japanese technology to empower drivers confidently when on urban or regional roads.
Positioned discreetly inside vehicles for a more luxurious in-car experience, the slim and stylish Dash View 50R pairs the 4K resolution front camera with a Full HD rear view camera, providing a 140-degree wide angle lens that captures more in-depth details, such as clear number plate recognition, and includes an effective zoom capability.
Utilising Sony’s Starvis Image Sensor provides back-illuminated pixel technology used in CMOS image sensors for optimum video quality and with WDR, allowing you to capture clearer vision in bright and low light environments. This premium technology ensures the Dash View 50R delivers high video quality in visible-light and near infrared light regions, with 4K technology further improving its colour range and contrast.
When out of the vehicle, the Dash View 50R has a parking mode feature, allowing vehicle owners to record when away from their vehicle. Utilising the included hardware kit, incidents that may cause damage to vehicles while parked on the street and in carparks are able to be captured and replayed.
The free Dash View App enables playback of video as it happens for instant visual verification via any smartphone device. This vision of incidents is particularly useful to share with insurance companies or authorities to support any claims.
The Dash View 50R also offers additional features such as safety speed / red light camera warnings which are kept up to date by Uniden’s support team, voice guidance control using the Smart One Touch function, inbuilt GPS and Wi-Fi providing users with Transfer functionality to Android and iOS smartphone devices using the DashView App. A 64GB MLC High Endurance Micro SD Card comes standard for ease of storage space, quick transfer and replay at the highest quality.
